The 2024 Spotlight Town Hall, To Shine A Light On Mental Health

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2024

Free Public Town Hall Event Begins At 7 P.M. ET At UD Arena, Presented By CareSource

DAYTON - In conjunction with the exhibition game between the University of Dayton and Xavier University men's basketball teams, the University of Dayton and CareSource will host the second annual Spotlight Town Hall event to honor Jayda Grant and champion adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention.  The evening will spotlight, educate and drive awareness on mental health and wellness in adolescents and young adults.

The event is free and open to the public, and will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at the University of Dayton Arena.  The program will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET.

Charity Exhibition Game feat. Dayton Flyers & Xavier Musketeers

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2024

DAYTON -  CareSource and the University of Dayton will host an exhibition game between the Dayton Flyers and the Xavier Musketeers men's basketball teams.  The game will cap off the second year of community engagement events championing adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention.

The NCAA waiver-approved charity game will be played on Sunday, October 20 at UD Arena.  Game time will be announced at a later date.  All net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Jay's Light, the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation and other charities within the Dayton and Cincinnati footprint. 


The Spotlight, To Shine A Light On Mental Health

DAYTON -- In conjunction with the exhibition game between the University of Dayton and the Ohio State University men's basketball teams, the University of Dayton and CareSource will host the Spotlight Town Hall event to honor Jayda Grant and champion adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention.  The evening will spotlight and drive awareness and education of mental health and wellness in adolescents and young adults.

The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at the University of Dayton Arena on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET.  Doors open at 5pm.


Men’s Basketball To Host Ohio State In A Charity Exhibition Game To Support Adolescent & Young Adult Mental Health And Suicide Prevention

DAYTON - An exhibition game between the Dayton Flyers and the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball teams will cap off a multi-day community engagement event championing adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention.
